VFX Supervisor & AI Engineer
In 1999, I experienced “The Matrix” – the moment when bullet-time effects changed my life. Shortly afterwards, I shot my first short films and Matrix and Star Wars parodies with a Hi8 camera my parents had bought me. Computerless VFX were unthinkable, so I was passionate about tinkering with hardware and code, much to the chagrin of my parents.
This nerd passion led me to train as an IT specialist for system integration at T-Systems. My final thesis on clustering to accelerate image synthesis processes paved the way for me: since founding the company, I have been a VFX supervisor and IT admin – always on the lookout for more Matrix magic for German film. Along the way, I have acquired many additional skills such as CAD modeling, CNC milling and 3D printing.
Today, I have come full circle: as an AI engineer, I support studios, agencies and innovation teams in using artificial intelligence in a meaningful way – from generative AI to optimized production pipelines. My toolbox combines film craftsmanship, in-depth IT know-how and tried-and-tested machine learning methods. Whether it’s levitating people, creating completely new worlds or integrating AI into the company – I plan solutions with you before others recognize the problem.
Because as Morpheus said: “All mankind revelled in euphoria as we marveled at our own ingenuity in creating AI.” It is precisely this enthusiasm that I would like to harness for your projects. Without darkening the sky, but with clear advice, creative ideas and a team that knows “There is no spoon.”
